Charisse “Abena” Moore, is a dynamic leader who is passionate about Africa and its diaspora.She has
more than 10 years of social service, research, youth development, and administrative experience.
Charisse holds a Masters’ degree in social work from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington
University in Saint Louis. She is dedicated and results-driven, with a focus on advocacy, education, and
socioeconomic development on an international level. She is also qualified in building relationships,
curriculum development, teaching, and service-based leadership. She has worked for numerous
nonprofits and NGOs, globally to enhance Africa and its diaspora access to resources to build sustainable
communities of color all over the world.
