Dr. Felix Njeh gained his Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, Canada in 1992. He then moved to Maryland to pursue graduate studies. While in graduate school, Felix also taught High School; he was an Information Technology instructor at Milford Mill Academy in Baltimore, Maryland.

He became an active member of The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) – Greenbelt Space Chapter where he participated in NSBE events,
raised awareness and drove NSBE’s vision on campus.

Dr. Felix Njeh obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Bowie State University in 1995. During his graduate studies he supported the Flight Dynamics and the Computer Network Divisions at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), as an intern student developing software to support NASA’s Space missions. He also worked part-time as an instructional lab monitor and a research assistant with the Department of Computer Science.
After graduating and with a good performance record as an intern, Felix was hired to support the NASA GSFC as a full-time Computer Systems Engineer. He also started a long teaching career with the Department of Computer Science, on a part-time basis. In the academia, he was able to efficiently translate technical field work to classroom lectures that benefited his students.

Felix’s love to nurture and encourage students to excel in education gives him the zeal to continue to teach. He has been an adjunct professor for more than a decade and provides remote lectures in Information Technology to students around the globe. Over several years he has taught the following courses: Computer Literacy and Applications, Database Design, Computer Networking, Unix Systems and more. His desire has always been to bring into the classroom what he has learned and continues to learn in the field of Information Technology. His students do appreciate the synergy he brings into the classroom.

For many years, Felix has occupied several highly technical positions supporting the US government. From 1998 to 2002, he was the Systems Support Analyst and Security Administrator for the U.S Bureau of the Census; from 2002 to 2010, he supported the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as the Principal Systems Engineer; and supported the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) as a lead Information Design Engineer on the TSA’s Information Technology Infrastructure Program (ITIP). Felix became an Enterprise Architect supporting the U.S Department of Defense including the Pentagon and The White House and later went to design Cloud systems for the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2020 Census Program.

Dr. Felix Njeh is a Micro-architecture Engineer at Intel Corporation. In his current role as a Cloud Performance Engineer, he is in charge of performance analysis and projection for different workloads on various IA and competitive platforms. Part of his job responsibilities include inventing, designing, building, and delivering solutions that drive standards and efficiency across the ecosystem. He designs the infrastructure that allows other software engineers and customers to quickly deploy, run and scale their systems.

With a Doctor of Science in Computer Science degree, Felix plans to continue to perform technical field work, invent, teach and do technical research. His research work has in the recent past attracted a lot of interest from the academia and the Information Technology industry.
Recently, Felix has presented his work at international conferences to include his travel abroad.

Dr. Njeh is a recognized Google scholar with close to 80 citations covering the areas of Cloud Computing, Big Data, Networks, and Information Technology.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, motivating youths to excel in education, hiking, gardening, music, exercising and reading. His favorite vacation spot is the beach.
